Spike in Pedestrian Deaths Linked to Distracted Phone Users

An increase in pedestrian deaths last twelvemonth was partially due to distractions caused past smartphones, according to a new report from the Us Governors Highway Condom Association.

The report, released Thursday, estimates that pedestrian deaths increased 11 percent concluding year. Some states are working to combat the phenomenon; Rexburg, Idaho, hands out $50 tickets for those who look at their phone while crossing a street. But wherever you are, the guidance is the aforementioned: pay attention.
